Bringing STAUD to Savannah
There is always a good reason to dress up, and STAUD gave us a pretty good one.
To celebrate the opening day of the Occasion Edit: a spring trunk show for STAUD, we gathered with friends and members of our community at Laney Contemporary on March 6th for an evening dedicated to special occasion dressing and the chance to bring one of fashion’s most-loved brands to Savannah. STAUD has become hard to miss lately, so having the opportunity to share the collection with our community felt especially exciting.
When we first introduced the Occasion Edit, we spent an afternoon “playing wedding” at Hotel Bardo, imagining where we might wear our favorite pieces from the collection and inviting guests to find their own during a weekend of private styling appointments. This time, instead of imagining the occasion, we threw one.
The Right Space
Laney Contemporary gave us plenty of room to make a night of it. Guests moved between the mirrored room and outdoor terrace, stopping for drinks, conversation, and a closer look at the collection along the way. The mirrored room quickly became a favorite place to gather, take photos with friends, and see the dresses from every angle.
Here are a few of our favorite moments from the night!

The Event
With a DJ setting the tone for the night, girls dressed in STAUD moved throughout the gallery, giving guests the chance to see the pieces as they were meant to be seen: off the hanger, in motion, and at a party. It was an evening filled with friends, beautiful clothes, and plenty of reasons to dress up. The kind of night that captured what we love about getting dressed up in the first place: coming together and having fun with fashion.

A Big Thank You
We were lucky to have the help of some of our favorite local businesses and creative partners throughout the evening. We’re especially grateful to STAUD for bringing their Occasion Edit to Savannah, and to Susan Laney for welcoming Marmalade into Laney Contemporary and giving us the perfect place to celebrate.
Thank you to everyone who spent the evening with us and made our night with STAUD one worth remembering. Bringing a collection we love to Savannah is always exciting, but getting to experience it alongside our community is what makes it special. The dresses may have brought us together, but the evening we shared was the best part.
